RTI Connector, XML Application, and System Designer: the perfect trio for creating your next DDS Project

This will be the first of a multi-part webinar series that will take a deeper look at the various parts of the Connext toolkit.

This first webinar will focus on three technologies that together provide a powerful and easy-to-use DDS-based capability ideal for quickly building proof of concepts and test applications for exercising your system: RTI Connector, XML-based Application Creation, and RTI System Designer

RTI Connector is a family of APIs that provide an alternate way to interact with the Connext DDS databus in Python, Javascript and more. This technology utilizes a newer part of the DDS standard called XML-based Application Creation that shifts the bulk of the system definition from code to a standardized XML format. Many model-based tools produce XML output already.

RTI System Designer is a browser-based tool that gives our users a robust way to define a system using the standardized XML format above. In addition to supporting this use-case, System Designer also has powerful standalone capabilities to define both Quality of Service and IDL-based data modelling for use throughout the Connext product suite.

RTI Senior Field Applications Engineer, Dave "Whitt" Whitten will demonstrate these technologies and answer any questions you may have.

Hope to see you there!
