Created by MedAcuity and RTI, this demo allows attendees to assume the role of a surgeon, where they can remotely control a robotic arm using a high-fidelity haptic controller to experience the precision and responsiveness required for medical applications. 

This demo, built by RTI and MedAcuity, uses RTI Connext for secure, ultra-low latency communication over long distances, while complying with medical-grade standards. By integrating with QNX’s real-time operating system, Connext ensures safe, deterministic performance for advanced medical robotics. This hands-on experience highlights how RTI empowers the future of remote surgery.
