RTI actively supports research through a variety of programs and collaborative initiatives to meet the specific needs of different research communities.
RTI offers a number of programs to support government research. These include the DDS Technology Network exclusively for government research programs, no-charge software license grants, and partnering on Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) initiatives.
RTI provides eligible researchers and IR&D projects with no-charge licenses to RTI products. Most internally-funded Independent Research and Development (IR&D) qualify, making it easy for projects with tight time and budget constraints to take advantage of DDS benefits.
RTI has several SBIR efforts underway in technical areas such as cyber security, safety-critical software, software instrumentation, cyber situational awareness and cloud computing.
RTI offers RTI products free-of-charge for University research and classroom use. No-charge University Program licenses are for educational institutions with non-profit status. These licenses are granted on a per-project basis, for use in non-commercialized research and in classroom teaching.
Please visit the RTI Research Portal at http://community.rti.com for discussion forums, user-contributed independent research papers, descriptions of projects, a membership roster for the University Program, details on research travel grants, and more!
