AI Databus Access Addendum

This AI Databus Access Addendum governs access to and use of application databus subscription capability in Real-Time Innovation, Inc.’s (“RTI’s”) Connext Studio.  This capability grants your configured AI framework (including your chosen AI development tool, Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, or third-party LLMs) permission to subscribe to and read real-time application sample payloads from your DDS databus topics.

By enabling this capability, you certify that you are authorized by your organization to enable AI access to databus topic payloads and that you understand and accept, on behalf of your organization, the following:

1. Data Transmission to External AI Providers or RTI: Enabling this feature allows your AI framework to access DDS databus application sample payloads. Depending on your configuration, these payloads may be transmitted to third-party AI tool providers, hosting infrastructure, or to RTI via Connext Studio LLM tools and Connext AI MCP servers. Because RTI does not control how third-party AI frameworks select, invoke, or provide context to AI tools, RTI cannot guarantee that these frameworks will exclude DDS databus payloads when invoking third-party or RTI-hosted AI services.

2. User Responsibility for Data: You are strictly responsible for the data you process and disclose. RTI strongly recommends that you DO NOT enable this feature if your databus handles export-controlled technical data subject to the US Export Administration Regulations (EAR) or International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR); Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), classified data, or defense data; or sensitive or otherwise regulated data, such as personal data (PII/PHI) subject to GDPR, CCPA, or HIPAA.
   
3. No RTI Data Filtering or Warranty: RTI does not filter or monitor application sample payloads processed by your local or cloud Studio session, nor does RTI guarantee that payloads will be free of confidential or regulated data.
4. Governing Terms: Data transmitted to or processed by third-party AI frameworks or model providers is governed exclusively by your organization’s direct agreements with those respective providers. Any invocation or usage of Connext AI is subject to the RTI Connext AI Terms of Use. Use of other RTI software and services remain subject to the terms applicable to those products and services.
