Frank Gates has enjoyed a long career highlighted by specific expertise in complex, mission-critical complex systems. His early work with critical-infrastructure voice/data telecoms led logically to architecting responsive distributed systems and networks, even before they became known as IoT. More recently, Frank has focused on bringing high-performance Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) solutions to mission- and safety-critical systems in aerospace & defense and autonomous applications.
