RTI Announces 'Bridging the Data Gap' Webinar Series

Free Webinar Series Addresses High-Performance Messaging Integration Between Operational Technology and Enterprise IT Systems to Optimize Business Processes

SUNNYVALE, Calif.—March 13, 2012—Real-Time Innovations (RTI), the world leader in delivering fast, scalable communications software that addresses the challenges of building and integrating real-time operational systems, today announced a new webinar series designed to showcase the benefits of integrating operational technology with enterprise IT systems.

Increasingly, companies with technologies at the operational edge – systems that control physical processes and manage physical assets – are faced with the challenge of integrating these systems with enterprise IT to improve business efficiencies. RTI's webinar series takes a closer look at this new business imperative and how companies are struggling to integrate distributed applications, mix platforms and merge data models – frequently across remote locations. RTI Connext™ communications software combines the real-time performance, scalability and reliability needed by Operational Technology (OT) systems with the integration and flexible messaging capabilities of IT systems to create a 'systems of systems' and bridge the gap between OT and IT.

This series will commence on March 13, with the first of four webinars. Additional details on each event can be found below.
