RTI Event Processing
RTI Event Processing Brochure (PDF) RTI Event Processing is Complex Event Processing (CEP) software, the engine driving the next generation of event-driven business applications. It allows processing and analysis of high volume event streams, uncovering opportunities and threats as they happen, not after the fact. Applications can take advantage of rapidly changing business conditions, enabling you to get closer to your customers, and slash problem resolution time, making your enterprise more agile. With RTI Event Processing, developers can identify patterns, for real-time event detection, by querying, filtering, and transforming data from multiple topics and real-time data sources, including RTI Data Distribution Service. Please click on image to enlarge. RTI Event Processing enables applications to perform transformations in real time before generating business events, taking action on the data, or creating real-time enterprise dashboards. Queries can continuously be run on the current data set without incurring the decreased throughput and increased disk usage needed by persisting data, traditionally required for complex queries. Instead of coding events within the application code using C, C++, or Java, developers can leverage the easy to use SQL-like language provided with RTI Event Processing to rapidly build new event detection code and benefit from a clean separation between pattern-detection and event handling code. With RTI Event Processing, developers can quickly correlate data and events from multiple real-time data streams by using SQL semantics for performing data selection, computation, grouping, aggregation, and joins. Adapters provided for RTI Data Distribution Service enable publishing of processed events to a wide variety of enterprise systems: relational databases, JMS implementations, XML/SOAP, sockets, files, email, and more |
