RTI's Open Community Source makes it easier than ever to take advantage of the world's leading implementation of the Data Distribution Service (DDS) standard from the Object Management Group (OMG). It provides free-of-charge access to the latest release of RTI DDS, the foundation of the RTI Connext product line. RTI DDS includes both library source code and pre-built binaries for the Linux and Windows operating systems.

With Open Community Source, you may:

• Use RTI DDS without charge for development and deployment.
• Freely share RTI DDS source code and binaries with other members of your Infrastructure Community (IC). This makes it easy to standardize on a common and interoperable communications infrastructure across a community – even if it spans projects, divisions, companies and organizations.
• Take advantage of free access to RTI's support knowledge base.
• Purchase phone, email and web support on a time and materials basis.

Infrastructure Community

You may freely share RTI's Open Community Source software with other members of your Infrastructure Community (IC). An IC may encompass multiple projects with a desire to share a common or interoperable software infrastructure. Member projects may span corporate divisions, companies and organizations.

In addition to the ability to share software, IC members may also take advantage of discounted pricing on commercial licenses to the RTI Connext family of products. These products add advanced messaging, integration, testing and debugging capabilities to RTI DDS, significantly reducing your development and integration time.
