RTI Data Distribution Service includes run-time services and adapters that ease integration of disparate applications and large-scale systems of systems. All services are scalable and fault tolerant. Multiple instances may be run concurrently for load balancing and redundancy.
RTI Routing Service enables integration of disparate, geographically disperse and legacy systems. It provides federation and mediation capabilities, including:
RTI Web Integration Service provides WSDL/SOAP and RESTful interfaces to RTI Data Distribution Service. It allows you to publish and subscribe from Web applications and thin clients. This includes application that run on mobile operating systems such as iOS and Android.
RTI Web Integration Service is based on RTI’s draft submission to the Object Management Group’s (OMG) Web-Enabled DDS standard. A preview release is available now. Contact RTI for an evaluation.

RTI Database Integration Service (formerly RTI Real-Time Connect) provides bidirectional integration between RTI Data Distribution Service and a relational database. It stores published data and publishes database updates. With a single instance, RTI has benchmarked storing over 100,000 messages per second using an in-memory database on a commodity four-core server. Applications include:
RTI Spreadsheet Add-in for Microsoft Excel provides bidirectional integration between RTI Data Distribution Service and Microsoft Excel. It allows cells, formulas and charts to include subscriptions to real-time data streams, such as market data and sensor data. Values update automatically and in real-time. Formula results can also be published in real-time to other applications and spreadsheets.
RTI Persistence Service (PDF) provides an optional broker for RTI Data Distribution Service. By default, with RTI’s peer-to-peer architecture, late joining and durable consumers receive historic data and messages directly from the original producer’s cache. However, in some cases, it is desirable to persist data independently:
RTI Recording Service non-intrusively records published data for future analysis, debugging and archival purposes. Recorded data can be converted into a variety of formats including XML, HTML and CSV. It can also be replayed for simulation and back-testing.
RTI provide a JMS adapter that enables use of DDS with most CEP engines, allowing the CEP engine to consume data from DDS applications, detect events, and as a result, inject new data into DDS. We specifically offer an integration module to Sybase CEP, as well as detailed instructions and demonstration code for integrating DDS with Oracle CEP.
