

RTI's Limited-Bandwidth Plug-in bundle addresses the challenges of constrained network communication. The plug-ins are designed to overcome situations where the network is made inefficient by low or limited bandwidth, intermittent connections or related issues. The RTSJ Extension Kit for Connext DDS provides an end-to-end solution for real-time Java programmers needing a scalable, high-performance messaging solution. With Java Virtual Machines (JVM) that implement the Real-Time Specification for Java (RTSJ), developers have a viable alternative to lower level languages for developing real time applications. The RTSJ Extension Kit works with real-time JVMs from multiple vendors and brings the combined advantage of the Java language and DDS standard to real-time distributed systems.
RTI provides software and services to facilitate the simultaneous use of Connext and CORBA. It allows Connext DDS to use data types generated by the TAO IDL compiler. This enables seamless data sharing between portions of an application that use RTI’s DDS application programming interface and those that use CORBA.
