Real-Time Innovations and SYSGO alliance yields broader platform coverage for embedded developers

PARIS, France and MAINZ, Germany - 08 January 2004, - Real-Time Innovations and SYSGO sign a major partnership agreement yielding new product integration and allowing for the sales, support and services of RTI products by SYSGO.

The distribution agreement for the German market permits SYSGO to resell RTI's NDDS® products across a wide range of embedded platforms including Linux®, VxWorks®, LynxOS®, Windows® and QNX®. In addition, SYSGO has the rights to market the popular StethoScope® for Linux graphical data visualisation tool; StethoScope is already used by thousands of embedded developers around the world.

"This agreement opens the door to a much wider choice for the network based embedded developer wishing to use best-in-class solutions" says Mike Rogosin, General Manager of Real Time Innovations EMEA, "key networking middleware and state-of-the-art development tools are now available on new platforms popular in Germany and elsewhere."

NDDS is a real-time publish-subscribe technology that greatly simplifies the building of complex networks of embedded systems with many-to-many communication requirements. NDDS technology and know-how is at the heart of the new international standard managed by the Object Management Group (OMG) for real-time data distribution, called DDS. This product technology is already deployed in many large scale environments in the transportation, avionic, aerospace, industrial controls and telecom sectors.
