Senior Technical Marketing Engineer

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

In this key role, you will be responsible for driving RTI’s growth by:

• Conveying to the market the benefits and capabilities of RTI’s technology through demos, benchmarks, white papers, presentations and contributed articles
• Working with partners to expand RTI’s ecosystem and visibility
• Providing compelling content to enhance our lead capture
• Supporting RTI’s sales efforts

This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your product knowledge and technical skills while learning other aspects of the business including marketing, sales and strategic planning.

Responsibilities:

• Develop demonstration software that highlight RTI’s value propositions and differentiating capabilities—for use on RTI’s web site, by field application engineers and at trade shows
• Work with partners to validate interoperability, perform product integrations and proof-of-concepts, and develop joint demonstrations and application notes
• Develop sales and marketing tools, including web content, data sheets, presentations, white papers and contributed articles
• Develop and perform benchmarks
• Present at conferences, seminars and webinars
• Support RTI’s field application engineers

Required experience and skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in a customer-facing role in marketing, sales, engineering, support or services
• Experience using message oriented middleware products, such as RTI, JMS, MQ and Tibco
• Proficient in C++ and Java, Linux and Windows; knowledge of .NET desirable
• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
