Senior Product Manager, Financial Services

Location: Manhattan, NY, or Sunnyvale, CA

This is a highly visible role. The candidate we select will be responsible for developing RTI’s financial services product strategy, working with engineering to define the roadmap and with product marketing to develop and execute the marketing plan. S/he will also work closely with the sales team who are leading sales efforts at major global investment banks, proprietary trading houses, exchanges, and other opportunities. This includes meeting with customers and prospects to gather requirements and present our solution and roadmap.

Candidates must have experience managing products used in trading infrastructure and understand how trading systems are architected. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a developer or architect of trading systems.

This position may be based in Manhattan or RTI’s headquarters in Silicon Valley. At least 30% travel should be expected.

Responsibilities:

• Develop RTI’s financial services business plan and product strategy
• Identify and prioritize market requirements and work with engineering to create product roadmaps
• Support RTI’s sales efforts
• Author sales and promotional tools including web content, data sheets, presentations, white papers, contributed articles and press releases
• Evangelize RTI’s technology to customers, prospects, editors and analysts
• Represent RTI in industry organizations
• Create and maintain competitive analysis and positioning
• Develop and manage relationships with strategic partners

Required experience and skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• At least three years of product marketing or industry marketing experience, including experience marketing products used in trading infrastructure
• BS degree in computer science and MBA or equivalent experience
