RTI was founded in 1991 by robotics researchers from Stanford University. Engineering and research is part of the company's DNA.
RTI employs over 60 development, research and field engineers worldwide. This team includes the world's best in distributed real-time information. Most RTI engineers have a MS degree, and many PhDs, from top universities such as Stanford, MIT, UC Berkeley, Rensselaer, CalTech, and Vanderbilt. Many have deep experience in industries ranging from defense to telecommunications to robotics.
In addition to product engineering, RTI supports an active research program, with six current active projects totaling nearly $3m. Our research team includes specialists in network security, real-time situational awareness, data mining, and data distribution. We publish dozens of papers every year and support speaking events around the world.
RTI offers a global sales and services footprint, with sales offices or distributors in 14 countries, serving most of the globe. We support hundreds of active customer sites with a global support team that can optionally offer 24x7 service.
