(RTI), The Real-Time Middleware Experts, and Concurrent Computer Corporation today announced that they have partnered to provide RTI's standards-based real-time data distribution middleware with Concurrent's RedHawk Linux in support of the U.S. Navy's Aegis Open Architecture program.

Aegis Open Architecture is the foundation for the modernization of the Navy's Aegis-equipped cruisers and destroyers.
